Session Tuition

Most of my students take weekly lessons and pay tuition by the semester, with a make-up week at the end of each session. The session rates for lessons are $30/15 minute lesson, $40/30 minute lesson, $55/45 minute lesson, and $70 60 minute lesson. Tuition is due at the beginning of each session, either in one or two installments depending on your needs. There are no lessons for the week of Thanksgiving, the last two weeks of December, and I leave off one week in the spring for spring break whenever it may fall (I am usually available for make-ups during this time however).

Concerts, Group, and Theory Classes

Concerts, group and theory classes are periodically scheduled throughout the year. Depending on our needs as far as space, I may change a nominal fee for participation to cover space rental or an accompanist fee.

Tuition Assistance

I am able to offer a discount on session tuition to a limited number of students each year. If you are interested in cello lessons for your child but affordability is a concern please reach out to me and we will discuss. I do not offer discounted tuition rates on single lessons.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you are unable to attend a lesson or wish to reschedule, please give me 24 hours notice. Because I teach from home and have a variable performance and gig schedule myself, I can be flexible with respect to rescheduling. I will do my best to accommodate make-ups, but am unable to offer a refund in the event that a make-up time can't be found. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are not eligible for a make-up or refund. In the event that I am forced to cancel a lesson due to illness or professional conflict, the lesson will either be made up, refunded, or credited to the next session.

Tardiness

Please be on time to your lesson. Lessons are frequently scheduled back-to-back with other students or rehearsals, and I can't always extend lessons past the scheduled time.
